problem with smartforms printing

Hi,

I have a question in smartforms printing, they are using vatiable lv_volume for printing volume in smartforms.

but when printing they are using as &lv_volume(c)& , what does this (C) mean, I know its basic but did not find answer for this in SCN , i already searched in SCN and worth asking .

Please dont reject this.

C is for condense,to remove the spaces in the variable.

Condense -> remove blank spaces

Default LEFT indention.
