Problem with Search help exit

Hi All,

I have created a search help exit with two fields . But when i choose the field i want from input help where this search help is defined it does not import it on the screen .. So it shows the value in input help but does not import it on the screen ...

Dear Amber,

Choose that field as Export Parameter in the Parameter section of the Definitaion tab.

So Value will be returned from the hit list to the input template (screen).

could you explain what it was you did to solve this problem? I am having the same problem with my Search Help User Exit.

I can display the specific information we want the user to only see when I do an F4 on the field (Material Group in my case), but when I choose a Material Group form the list it is not returned to the MM02 screen.

Hi Scott ,

In my case i had to fields grade and location . So what I wanted was that when i select grade field only grade would appear in F4 help and when i choose location field only location would come in F4 help . Earlier it was not taking my Location field on the screen . So what i did was that i shifted the text in my location field 4-5 places right because location was my 2nd field and was interfering with the grade field . So after doing this it appeared on the screen as well .

So you can do one thing as i discovered at that time . Shift your variable 3 places right because the first variable in F4 help was starting from 3 place ..Please try this ..May be it helps ...
