Problem with Mail attachement

Hi ,

Currently landscape is updated to Unicode,

i'm getting blankspace after each character in the attachemnt.

i have tested the same program on diffrent servers which is working properly.

is this the unicode issue or help me out how to resolve the problem.

Hi Avinash,

Check entry of File type in table TSOTD.

Blank spaces after each character may be because of file type missing in table.

Refer a sample code to update file type table TSOTD .

After updating the file type try agaiin. Hope it solves ur issue.

Hi,

when landscape is upgrade, first check unicode, syntax check and slin check. then u will find the differences.

It looks like Unicode issue only, but anyway.. have a look in the generated spool and find how it is coming there.

I have checked the using UCCHECK, there are no errors program is syntactically correct. I have tried to over come the problem using the class CL_ABAP_CONV_OUT_CE to convert the attachment content to external format.

But i don't this is the right solution, i need to add the logic as per the external system in all the program which sends the attachment through mail.
