problem with LSMW Batch input/Direct input method for FB01 tcode data

Hi Experts,

I am uploading the data using Batch/Direct input method in ECC 6.0. But the BBKPF structure has BLDAT and BUDAT has CHAR with 8 chars length. When converting FB01 posting date is considering length as CHAR8 only. I have used write to also, but no use. Please let me the procedure to convert the CHAR 8(note: this is not as DATS 😎 data as Char 10 date format.

In your strcture also use CHAR8 length for date fileds. and pass the date as 02092009, dont pass any dot(.) (/).... in sap stores like as default setting in SU3 parameters...

Do not pass any separator but pass the date in the format as in your user settings.

Hi Everyone,

I have one question about LSMW and FB01

I used also batch/direct input method for posting in fb60 - object 0100 and method 0000 but when I'm in option 'Read data' I have error 'Generation canceled: No field with this name' - in description is something about:

least one source field must have the name of a field of the superordinate structure.... . But I don't have this same field in header and in position. How I should make it? Maybe somebody can help me how to make it for tcode FB01.
