i have with dates and i wont to now when i have the first record in the last place in table

i give e.g.

02012008

02012008

04012008

05012008

.....

01012008<---this is the last record in the table

its not the same all the time it can be like

01022008

02022008

04022008

05022008

Could you be more specific.

I don't understand what you mean with the first record in the last place in the table?

You want to know if that record is unique?
