Problem with exporting data to an excel file.

Hi all,

Currently, I run a report and the output is displayed in ALV for more than 300 thousands records and I can export the result to an excel file with existing xxl format. However, If I try to export the result to an excel file with MHTML format the system run slow painfully and I even can not get the excel file.

Moreover, If the output has only 30 records then I can export the result to an excel file successfully for both existing xxl and MHTML format.

Could you please show me how to solve this problem ?

may be you can try reducing the number of coloumns for display and then try.

do you think XL can handle more than 65000 records in case you are not using greater than Office 2007.

Hi,

My problem is: I can export the output data on ALV to an excel file easily with the xxl existing format. On the other hand, Exporting the result to an excel file with MHTML format take me too much time and even I can not get the excel file.

I am using Microsoft excel 2003.

Please show me how to solve this problem ?
