Problem with communication user ID

Hi All,

We are using SAP ECC 6.0. We have a strange situation where we set a particular ID as Communication user type but after sometime when we check it shows up as Service user type. The change log for the user also shows that user type was changed from Service to Communication and there is no trace for the change from Communication to Service.

Please advice

Thanks,

Vijaya

Hi Vijaya,

please check, if your system has already the corrections of SAP note #815054. Please test, if switching off the buffering for usr02 solves the problem (as per SAP note #1006276).

Display table USR02 in SE11 and do a where-used-list lookup on the USTYP field...

Hi,

Can you check the change document for that particular user? Like who changed it?

Goto SUIM -> change document -> Users .

In that below select the user type to view who changed the user type of that particular user.

Hope this will helps.

Hi,

Please exaplian more about your landscape like whether you have CUA installed and etc. I had faced a situation where user type set in CUA central system is changed in CUA a cuild to different one due to settings in SCUM. Th usertype was set to local in Logon data.
