Problem with ALV Output print

Hi,

I facing problem in ALV output print.

In my ALV output, for all the columns having currency value ( i.e, sales order net value, PO amount, billing amount etc.), i am setting the column color to distinguish them from other column and user can easily notice them.

When i give a print, all other columns are coming ok ( column with no color), while on the column with color it printing cross lines so i can not read anything. It is like you write something and scratches it with lines.

Is there any way to print the ALV output with colored column on the black and white printer. I have tried to print on many printers but all are giving same proble.

Because of the colored column, the presentation of output is very good and user does not want to remove this.

Pratik,

A work around could be remove the standard DOWNLOAD button and have a custom button and handle the download functionality manually using the CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES->GUI_DOWNLOAD method. All you have to do is to use the internal table used for ALV display and download the data.

Hi Pratik,

Can I know how r u displaying the currency fields in a different color format? Also, R u getting the problem even u r trying to display in different color formats?

Coz..I didnt face any problem till now during the display of the rows or columns in different formats. Moreover, try out the color combination light pink, i.e., pass 'C600' to the EMPHASIZE field of the fieldcat you r using.

Thanks for your reply.

I do not have any problem is setting of color of any column or row. I am also using EMPHASIZE attribute of fieldcat to color the column. I tried all the different color with different combination of Inverse on/off, emphasize on/off. The ALV output looks good, but when i print the same ALV output, the columns with the color ( EMPHASIZE) comes with the cross mark of it and i can not read anything.

I can always download it to excel and print, but use wants to print directly from ALV output.

Is there any solution for this?
