Problem regarding LSMW

Dear Experts,

I have created one LSMW for Tcode IQ02.I want to restrict user to use that particular LSMW only & that's why I have used a Function Module /SAPDMC/LSM_OBJ_STARTER & passing the PROJECT,SUBPROJECT & OBJECT as a default of my LSMW PROJECT,SUBPROJECT & OBJECT & everything works fine, but the problem is I want to restrict the user using only few steps not the Administration steps e.g., MAINTAINING SOURCE ATTRIBUTES,FIELD MAPPINGS etc.But this layout is user id specific as I have gone through.

I have changed the steps of that particular LSMW in my ID & I am getting my desired result but if I use any other ID system is showing all the steps.If I deselect all those steps after going to the button "USER MENU" in that particular user id then only it will show the desired result.Please advice what is to be done in this case.I have already tried with transaction SHD0 but there is no option for hiding the steps under button "USER MENU".I am able to deactivate other menu functions & buttons ,spcifically the USER-MENU button also but am not able to hide the other LSMW steps across all the SAP USER IDS.

In step 1 of LSMW you should define the LSMW as periodic, this gives you new last step that allows you to create a step list for the enduser.

Hi,

I understand that you want to hide options for one or more or all users. Using SHD0 standard options, I don't know how to do it, but did you try to add a GuiXT script to the screen variant, maybe you could bypass those limitations.
