Problem: LSMW with transaction MM01 (Basic Data views are not created)

Hi,

I'm using LSMW in order to upload data from legacy system, i used "standard batch/direct input": object "0020" (material master), method "0000", program name "rmdatind" and program type "D" (direct input). Tcode = 'MM01'.

The material it's created, but when i run the transaction mm03 or mm02 in order to view or modify the material created i realized that these views does not appears: Basic Data 1, and Basic Data 2.

Can you help me with this problem?

Hi,

In T.code MM02 and MM03 below the applicaiton tool bar you have a push button " SELECT VIEWS" to select the views of the patirucalr material that you want to fetch. By using this push button you can select all the views that you want to view for which the materail has data in.

Hi Seshi,

I tried that, but the views basic data does not appears in order to be selected in the tx mm02 or mm03.

The problem occurs when the material it's created by the lsmw, if i create the material manually by the tx mm01 this problem don't happen.

Hi Vivas,

May be the data has not got uplaoded properly ? becuase It also depends on the data that you are uplaoding if you had not uploaded the data into some particular views it won't be visible for the user.

For example, the base unit it's uploaded properly in the view "plant data / stor. 1" (the field base unit it's also in the view "basic data 1"), but when i upload the material using the lsmw this view (basic data 1) does not appears, although the value for that field it's in the view plant data stor. 1.

Hello,

Please check the fields: BMM00-XEIK1, BMM00-XEIL1 are checked to create the BASIC Views.

Hi Vivas,

From your comment it seems that when the materils is created the views you had selected at the time of creation only come in MM02 or MM03

if you wnat to cahgne the material by adding some more vies you need to go again in MM01 and select the view that you want to add and create it again
