Problem in Vendor Master Upload

Hi

I'm trying to upload vendor master.All field are taking except the Address.The length of the address is more then 40 characters.

How to upload the rest Vendor address in Dev client.My clients all vendor address is more then 60 characters.

How to upload the address.I'm uploading through Recording method.

Hi

for entering the address there are 3 fields

just take Address 1 , address 2 , address 3

in Address 1 enter 40 char in Address 2 enter another 40 char in address 3 enter remaining 40 char....

Eg: if u have Smitha, # 3 / 4 , Koramangala , Bangalore

u enter Smitha, #3/4 in address 1 field

Koramangala in address 2 field and Bangalore in Address 3 field...

more than 40 Character is not possible upload in if you want all enter in second line

Hi Smitha,

Thanks for your reply.

But the problem is, I'm uploading through recording method.In recording method you can't find the Addrerss 1, 2, 3, 4 fields.But if you want to add the adrress as you told in Vendor Master, then through expand field we can do in change mode.Again it is tedious for more then 1000 vendors doing one by one.

I've already tried for this also.In change mode system is not accepting this.How to uplold the Vendor Master.

i got ur problm...

ya in XK02 if u select Vendor code, company code and n address u wil not get

Address 2,3,4 so on

so while recording

goto XK 02 transaction

select Vendor code,Company code,Address and also click on the check box

" USE central address management "

then it displays all the fields.....

Hope it solves ur problem

Yeah.........

I'm uplolading through LSMW recording method.My client has almost 700-800 Vendor master & I'm supposed to upload 65 fields.

Hi Smitha,

Thnx for ur suggestion.I understood what you said.

First I'll upload the address what SAP has provide max 35 chars.Then in change mode again I'v to do for the rest address in recording.
