problem in SM30

Dear ,

i created one custom table and it contain 43 fileds and i created table maintenace generator for it . when i am moving to production . and when i trying to entering the data through sm30 it showing only 37 fields in output not 43 fields . when i see through se11 it is showing 43 fields . plz help me .

points must be rewarded .

Hello,

If you added some fields after generating table maintenance, then you will have to re-generate table maintenance to reflect those.

Hi,

This is fairly a common issue, wherein developers generally create the table with the avaliable at the time of creation and generate the maintenace view using table maintenance generator. Due to functional changes they add fields and forget to refresh the maintenace view.

Remember that everytime the table is added with fields, it is mandatory to regenerate the maintenace view to reflect the fields in SM30. Hope this helps..

This is a common kind of problem faced either u refresh the table maintenance generator and also repair the function group

or recreate the table maintenace generator.
