Problem in Printing

Hi Experts,

I have small problem in printing smartforms,my print preview is ok but while taking print it is it is getting cut at right side and bottom of the page.Page size is same(A4) as I have specified in my smart form(DINA4).What might be the problem?

In printer settings also same page format is selected(A4).

What might be the problem?

Hi

I hope you should adjust the window according to the print.please convert the form into PDF format and see the print preview.

I had seen the print preview there is very small gap at the right side corner of the page increase the gap.

while printing A4 printer will take some default spaces in all the corners may be you are not maintaing that space or see the printer if paper is inserted in proper manner.

Better you correct the layout according to the print.

It is better to you land scape page than portrite. because the width of the content is not fitting to your page type which you have selected.

Hello Rock,

You generally face this problem if your right margin is too small. Even if you take PDF of this, it will look OK but if you take printout the sides will get truncated.

I DONOT know wats the issue (hopefully with the printer) but i have faced this issue many times. I will suggest you increase the margins to say 1cm.

Thanks Saha,as u said If I take PDF print it is coming perfectly alright but when I take print then only this problem is arising.

I have developed too many smartforms and I dont have enough space to increase the right margin so that it can print correctly,coz in almost all smartforms I tightly adjusted the main table,they have too many coloumns in their tables,so adjusting it will be a painfull job.

Any other solution?

Adjusted the margins,thats it,but the questian is remaining in my mind,why this print is liek that.
