problem in posting 3 programs in a job

Hi,

Iam having 3 programs.

First program takes an input file and creates an output file.

Second program takes the output file of the first program as an input file and creates another output file .

Third program takes the output file of the second program as an input file and creates an audit report.

I want to schedule these 3 programs in one job.

1. gave a jobname JOB1 in sm36 and clicked on start condition

2. clicked on immediate and saved and come back to previous screen.

3. clicked on step in sm36 and added the program name and variant iam using for program 1 and saved. It came to simple list overview screen.

4. clicked on create and added the next program with variant and saved.

5. added the third program also and come back to the sm36 and clicked on saved.

6. Now it says Job1 has been successfully released.

came to sm37.

1. gave the job name and selected everything on job status.

2. if i execute it it says the job is cancelled.

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN ME WHY IT'S CANCELLED. DID I MADE ANY MISTAKE in the above steps.

Hi rob the srror message is

my job name yfir0100_bb01incharmsday

First program was run fine and its completed.

for second program its giving in job log as

1.This job was started periodically or directly from SM36/SM37

2.There is a job YFIR0100_BB01INCHARMSDAY that has not yet ended

3.Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

can u please tell me what's the problem.
