Dear Gurus,
I am using dynamic internal table in a program. and I build a manual field-catalog. Now my problem is
I have 3 fields of type F , and it displays with exponential format, whereas I want these fields to be display like
normal decimal numbers with decimal places 5.
Can anyone give me any suggestion to resolve this issue.
Thanks .

Hello,
If the fields are TYPE F(float), how do you expect them to be displayed as decimals?
whereas I want these fields to be display like normal decimal numbers with decimal places 5
You have to define them as TYPE p DECIMALS 5.
If you can share the code on how the dynamic table is defined it will help us analyse the problem better.

Dear Subhas,
In alv grid display we have one option in ALV FIELDCATALOG. This is EXPONENT field of fieldcatalog. If we set the exponent with value '0' then the fields output display as a normal decimal number instead of exponential format. In my case it is working fine for another fields which contain data type F , but the problem is with those field which I created dynamically. Becoz in this case it is directly taking field attributes from dictionary when the dynamic internal table created. And the problem is stuck there as I also tried the same thing for those field as I did earlier for another fields with data type F, but in this particular case I am not getting success.
Problem is still there and sure I will share the code soon.
Thank you for your reply to that thread. Hope some more discussion and opinion from your side and from other viewers also on the same.

Dear Suhas ,
I set the EXPONENT and DECIMALS_OUT field of fieldcatalog and this problem is solved. Thank you for your suggestion and
I will definitely explain the solution before closing the issue from next time.
