Hi,
I'm working in LSMW and SAP 4.6C version. I was trying to create an object in Measurement Points (IK 01). I was doing it in Standard Batch
Object : 0425
Method : 0000
Program Name: IBIP
Program Type : B
When i was trying to relate the structures, i found that two fields were missing in the structure IBIPMEAS. Those fields were
MRMAC C(022) Upper Range Limit
MRMIC C(022) Lower Range Limit
I did not find any error when i was processing in session. My question is that how can i add those fields into SAP so as to map them in relating structures and mapping fields ???
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Kani.

Hi Kani,
I believe you can use structure IBIPBDCD to transfer your missing fields. Read the documentation for RIIBIP00, specifically this part 'IBIPBDCD for batch input and call transaction'. You will probably need to use IBIPFUNCT = 'GOTO' to access the Additional Data screen where you find the upper and lower range limits.

Hi Brenda,
I have followed the way that you told to create. It was very helpful. Thank you very much.
But now the problem is i am able to create it for only one field. But here i need two fields.
Can you please help me??
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Kani.

When you get to step 'Maintain Source Structures' in the LSMW, did you assign the structure containing the IBIPBDCD data to the lower level of the structure containing IBIPMEAS data? Like this:
Source Structures
->MEAS_POINT IBIPMEAS
->DIRECT_DATA IBIPBDCD
If so, then you can have 2 (or more) records in DIRECT_DATA (IBIPBDCD).

Brenda,
I tried with the step u mentioned. But i was able to create for only one field.
Could you please explain me how to do for more than 1 field??
Thanks & Regards,
Kani.

This is what i have done in the field mapping and conversion.
IBIPBDCD IBIP: Direct BDCDATA: formatted BDCDATA: expert use only
5 Fields
TCODE_SPAC IBIP:TCode (Only Entered in Header Record, Otherwise Space)
RECORDNAME IBIP: Name of the Data Transfer Record
Rule : Default settings
Coding: IBIPBDCD-RECORDNAME = 'IBIPBDCD'.
IBIPFUNCT IBIPBDCD Function -> Direct BDC Data
Rule : Constant
Coding: IBIPBDCD-IBIPFUNCT = 'GOTO'.
PROGRAM BDC module pool
Rule : Constant
Coding: IBIPBDCD-PROGRAM = 'SAPLIMR0'.
DYNPRO BDC Screen number
Rule : Constant
Coding: IBIPBDCD-DYNPRO = '6110'.
DYNBEGIN BDC screen start
FNAM Field name
Coding: IBIPBDCD-FNAM = 'MRMAC'.
FVAL BDC field value
Source: MEAS_PT-MRMAC (Upper Range Limit)
Coding: IBIPBDCD-FVAL = MEAS_PT-MRMAC.
Thanks & Regards,
Kani.

Instead of coding IBIPBDCD with constant values, use the values from your incoming structure associated with IBIPBDCD. For example, if your structure for IBIPBDCD is DIRECT_DATA, then you would use the following:
TCODE_SPAC IBIP:TCode
RECORDNAME IBIP: Name of the Data Transfer Record
Rule : Default settings
Coding: IBIPBDCD-RECORDNAME = 'IBIPBDCD'.
IBIPFUNCT IBIPBDCD Function -> Direct BDC Data
Coding: IBIPBDCD-IBIPFUNCT = DIRECT_DATA-IBIPFUNCT.
PROGRAM BDC module pool
Coding: IBIPBDCD-PROGRAM = DIRECT_DATA-PROGRAM.
DYNPRO BDC Screen number
Coding: IBIPBDCD-DYNPRO = DIRECT_DATA-DYNPRO.
DYNBEGIN BDC screen start
FNAM Field name
Coding: IBIPBDCD-FNAM = DIRECT_DATA-FNAM.
FVAL BDC field value
Source: MEAS_PT-MRMAC (Upper Range Limit)
Coding: IBIPBDCD-FVAL = DIRECT_DATA-FVAL.
That way, you can pass as many fields as you want.

Hi Brenda,
Sorry for the delay as i got stuck up with other objects.
Now, im clearly stating my structure and what i did. Please help me to clear out the issue.
Structure:
MPOTY C(003) MPOTY
TPLNR C(040) Functional Location
EQUNR C(018) Equipment
MPTYP C(001) Maint. plan cat.
INDCT C(001) INDCT
PSORT C(020) Sort field
PTTXT C(040) Item category text
ATNAM C(030) Characteristic Name
DECIM C(003) Decimal Places
EXPON C(003) float. point exp.
CODGR C(008) CODGR
CDSUF C(001) CDSUF
BEGRU C(004) Authorization Group
DESIC C(022) DESIC
CJUMC C(022) CJUMC
INDRV C(001) INDRV
PYEAC C(022) PYEAC
ATEXT C(040) Aspect name
SMENR C(008) Number of Rental Unit
MRMAC C(022) Upper Range Limit
MRMIC C(022) Lower Range Limit
I already mapped this structure with the standard object 0425 for all the fileds except last two fields MRMAC, MRMIC. Now i have to map these remaining two fields only but I could not map these fields with the IBIPBDCD: DIRECT BDCDATA structure.
Could you please guide me to finish this?
Thanks in Advance.

You will need to create 2 separate structures. One for IBIPMEAS data and one for IBIPBDCD data. When creating the structure for IBIPBDCD, place it at a lower level under IBIPMEAS. Then when you create the data for IBIPBDCD, you will need to add a separate row for each field.
For example:
POINT FNAM FVAL
1 MRMAC 2010.12.31
1 MRMIC 2010.01.01

Hi
I am facing the same issue while uploading the task list in ia01.
I have done the same settings in LSMW in field mapping and passing the values from the custom text file. But the values are not populating in the fields. Please let me know where m i doing wrong? Or please tell me an example.
My File entries are like this :
| 3 | IBIPBDCD | GOTO | SAPLMLSP | 200 | ESLL-KTEXT1(01) | DSDS |
| 3 | IBIPBDCD | GOTO | SAPLMLSP | 200 | ESLL-MENGE(01) | 1 |
| 3 | IBIPBDCD | GOTO | SAPLMLSP | 200 | ESLL-MEINS(01) | AU |
| 3 | IBIPBDCD | GOTO | SAPLMLSP | 200 | ESLL-TBTWR(01) | 100 |
