problem in inbound process for po

hi ppl,

i have sent po from the sender system and at reveiver end i assigned the pcode-ORDE and the message type-ACC_SALES_ORDER.but still iam getting the error as-56 and

EDI: Partner profile inbound not available.do i need to configure the above message type in bd64 at the receiver system.

Hi

You need to distribute the Distribution model from sender to receiver.

Also note that ORDE pertains to the message type ORDERS only.

you need to configure in WE20. select your logical system and ADD entry in inbound parameters and give message type and process code and save it.

hi...you people are not getting my doubt..for ORDE.Is the ACC_SALES_ORDER approprite message type..?? and do i again need to configure in distribution model at receiver end.

No there is no any message type for sales order in inbound porcessing.. ok anyways what all needs to be configured at receiver end for inbound processing

next-we20 here we will assign partner number(senders),and set the inbound parameters

Configure the message type and the process code for the partner in we20.

WE02 is only for displaying idocs.
