Problem in IDOC outbound

Hi All,

I am trying to send an outbound IDOC, the data is filled successfully and IDOC is generated...But the status is set to 30: and not 53(successfully)....

I checked the log: Below is the IDOC log:

Receiver exists , No filters , No conversion , No version change

Message no. B1006

IDoc successfully processed in ALE outbox

The IDoc has passed through the ALE layer successfully and can be sent. It can either be sent online or as a batch job, depending on the settings in the partner profile.

If there are no further status records then the IDoc waits for the next dispatch report run.

Success/failure of transmission is documented in subsequent status records.

ALE layer actions

The 'Receiver exists' parameter specifies whether the recipient of the IDoc has already been entered by the calling application or by the ALE layer. In the latter case the settings of the distribution model are used for the receiver determination.

The 'No filters' parameter specifies whether the processing in the ALE layer has led to segments of the IDoc created by the application being left out. The settings in the segment filter and in the distribution model for this recipient are decisive here.

The 'No conversion' parameter specifies whether field values have been converted in the ALE layer. This is the case if the IDoc contains organizational units to be converted or if the ALE conversion tool has been activated for this recipient.

The 'No version change' parameter specifies whether the IDoc has been converted into an earlier version of the IDoc type. This happens if the IDoc type in the outbound partner profile for this recipient differs from the IDoc type which was created.

HI Shiva ,

as per the status 30 you got , it looks like , for that Idoc type configuration level was not completed ,like partner profile , port ,etc ..

can you write indetail about the message type and how you are generated the IDOC .

I am using the standard message type....and config part : Partner Profile also i have assigned the message type and outbound idoc type....

Hi,

In we20 double click on your message type and see whether collect Idocs is checked. If it is checked then Idocs will be collected(in status 30), they wont be transferred immediately to application.

In addition , you can use RSNAST00 if you have an output type for the IDOC to be triggered .

coming to my earlier question how r u generating the IDOC ?

check for distribution model and port ?

Hi Shivakumar,

1. You are getting the status as 30 coz of, in the partner profiles section u have selected the radio button as " Collect idocs". So change it to " transfer idoc immediately".

2. And ur talking abt the status 53, but the status 53 is applicable to the inbound process, as ur dealing with the outbound process u must get the status 03 - data passed to port ok.

Once u make the changes in the partner profile section u will get the desired output.

Hi All,

We too are getting this error (status 30).

We have output mode as 2 (Transfer iDoc immed.)

But the idoc does not go through when we try BD87 or WE14.

Can someone please help?

Hi,

As you said output mode as 2 (Transfer iDoc immed.), this looks fine, but can you check in WE20, what was the radiobutton you selected .

or

Transfer Idoc Immediately

Can you check the Status Text in SM58 Transaction, Once the IDOC processed and Let me know.

And I had also tried this multiple times just to be sure and theres no mistake in this.

There are no messages in SM58.

Usually if there are failures, I can see them in SM58. But since I cannot see any failures, I assume its fine.

The status of the idoc remains 30 though!

Not sure why

Point to note is that new messages using the same port and RFc are going through. These are the older messages which were stuck because of an RFC error and now they are not going through.
