Problem in creating screen

Hi,

I have installed SAP 4.7.

As I try to create a new screen in a module pool program

It is diaplaying the following error message.

'No response from graphical screen painter existing '.

how this error can be avoided ?

hi dear,

Just go to the settings screen even when ur in ABAP editor and check it out the screepainter checkbox is selected.

for trigerring graphical scrren painter ,some settings hav to be

done,which will be done by basis people.otherwise u will get same error.

so contact ur basis people thy will solve the issue.

Go to se38> utilities> settings> select screen painter tab> check graphical layout editor

or

Its a GUI Problem, Either upgrade the Patch or either Re-Install the GUI.
