Hi All

I am creating a new checks in Code Inspector in ECC 5.0.My problem is when ever i am using TCode = SCI i am getting 3 Section there.First section is INSPECTION and second Section is OBJECT SET and third Section is

CHECK VARIANT. I have successfully created first two and when i am creating CHECK VARIANT then i am getting error message "Invalid Category Class <Parent Category Class> in Check Variant" and control comes to the initial screen where again i need to enter transaction SCI.

Even when i am trying to copy some default variant with "Z" name , then also same error "Invalid Category Class <Parent Category Class> in Check Variant"

is coming.

Why this problem is coming i am not getting.

Pls send me the way how to do or what going wrong.

Immediately response would be appreciated.

Regards

Vinod Tiwari

I'm getting the same error even when trying to view a standard variant. The strange thing is that it gets back to the inicial screen and, if I try to view the same variant, it just says that the variant does not exist. If I change the standard variant I want to view, the error message happens again.

If you got a answer and could share it with us, it would be very apreciated.
