Problem in background job

Hi experts,

I scheduled a job in SM36 like this:

1.Given the job name and in Step i have given the pgm name.

2.In the start condition i hvae given Today's date and time.Time i have given just 3 min from now.

So when i save this job, in the status bar it is giving job <jobname) saved with status Released.

But after 3 min if see in SM37 still its status is Released.Y?

y It has not finished? and it is also not showing strat date and time?

Can any body tell me what may be the problem?

Hi Ravi,

I think thatz happening because of time difference between your PC and that of the SAP Server...

In SM37, for the JOB that u have released Double click at the job and click the JOB details button. Check the RELEASE time and the SCHEDULED START.

The Time that you have given might not be same as the time SAP is taking into consideration (server time). Because of which your job is not starting.
