Problem in ALV's

Hi...

can anybody guide me...

actually my problem is..

i am modifyng std report of Tcode-IK17. i have done all the modifycations except one.

for that report it displays output in ALV. There i have to calculate subtotals for a field called CDIFF(counter reading Diff) accordint to date.

CDIFF field is of type Fltp but some where in std report it is converting it into Char type (sub totals on char field is not working) so i want to hadle it in other list...when the user cliks a button on App tool bar it should display it in other list, i have populated the values in other internal table and i am using reuse_alv_list_diaplay and i called the function module

case sy-ucomm.
when fctcode of that field.
i have called that func. module.

But it is not triggering... can i do like this. is there any alternative.. please suggest me...

check the value of Sy-ucomm in debug mode when clicking on the button on toolbar and then use case ..endcase for e.g -

Case sy-ucomm.

when 'BUTTON'. "give button name in capital letters only

....

..

endcase.

also if it s report program then u have to write the code on event

At user-command

and if it is a transaction then write it on the PAI of the screen..

Hi,

When the output comes write /h in the command bar and then click on the button you want.

The code goes to debugging mode.

Then check the value of sy-ucomm and see if it matches with what you have written in your code.
