Problem Editing Text Elements in ABAP

Dear Experts ,

I am having a problem while editing text elements used in ABAP report.

When I go to change mode its giving the message of type S give below:

"Carry out modification comparison for REPT ZRPETtest1 first. No Change Possible""

and the system is not allowing me to edit the display text of text element.

Please help.

Yes the Modification assistant is ON.

I am able to edit text elements of other reports but for this report its showing the above error.

Please advice
