Posting error in GR

Hi all,

I am trying to create Goods receipt through we19 test tool by giving values in the segment fields such as BLDAT BUDAT XBLNR BEAKZ WERKS MATNR LGORT LIFNR in mandatory segments E1MBXYH E1MBXYI . And executed the inbound processing standard using process code WMMB. The idoc gets created with status 51 and message " Material movement could not be posted in the system".

Tried with PO with no goods receipt created, and maintained OMMJ and T158 table for we19 transaction, but why I am getting the error . The reqmt is urgent and any help is really appreciated. Thanks

Hi ,

I think check out whelter for GR the posting period is open or not i think posting period is closed checkout transaction MMPV ,MMPB.

Please reward if useful.
