post upgrade issue on table

Dear Experts,

         We have faced some issues in development system post upgrade where

ZPPSPLT_MCD table was edited and transported to qas system. In qas it

was throwing an error Field 'PDATE' unknown. When I edited the same

table from SE11 and from SE14 I did Save Dta, Activate and Adjust

database, then releasing the TR and importing it in QAS worked

properly. What exactly is this issue as we were not doing the same

activity before the upgrade.

Check whether the dataelement 'PDATE' exists in quality or not?

Daer ram,

     thanks for ur reply data element exists is qas. Database object check gives below error:

Fields: Inconsistent with the runtime object

Field PDATE Does not exists

PDATE field in QAS system was not activated so it gives the error.

Dear Bharat,

             The main question here is when i activate my table in se11 and transport to quality it is working fine before upgradation  but after upgradation when i transport the table it shows the error in quality that one field is missing then again i have to do se14 (activate and adjust the database). And again i have to transfer it to quality then it is working fine. Before upgradation it is fine now why should i do se14 Can you please give the answer. This error is coming only for some tables not for all the tables.

I also face same problem when I upgrade 4.7 to 6.0 ,

When we transfer our table then z dataelement,domain and fields are not activated even though they display active bt actually they are not acvtivated so make practice when u upgrade then ur z object need activation process in Developemnt server then transfer it to qulity and production server.
