Port XML configuration for inbound interface

Hi,

We need to configure an inbound interface to SAP HR for HR Master Data (idoc HRMD_A07), and we would like to read xml files (with idoc format) in a specific folder instead of flat files (txt).

We did a similar process for the outbound interfaces and we are able to extract Idoc as xml files, however, for inbound since we cannot find the option Inbound in the XML port configuration, I would like to request your help us to configure this.

Can anyone help me with the SAP steps needed to configure the XML port? Or alternatives to process this xml file?
