Populate custom fields in XD01

Hi All,

I have a custom field in one of the screen in XD01 at company code level. I need to fill this field at the screen level where the value for the custom field is present in the custom segment. I have Z Idoc type created; which is a copy of DEBMAS01.

Let me know how can i populate the data in XD01. Do i need to have BDC for it or through standard i can do it?
