Hi experts,
Our client is facing an issue with Pop up message in Adobe forms.
Instead of actual message which we are trying to display(For eg. "Select plant"), we are getting "Your custom error message: General erro: operation failed".
FYI : we are using xfa.host.message command to display POP up message.
Is this because of Adobe version?

Hi Sneha,
You have assigned a custom message on the field in the form. Please clear and message and execute.

Hi Manu,
Thanks for your inputs.
But, we are hardcoding message using xfa.host.message("Select plant").
Can you tell me where exactly, we assign custom message to form field?

Sneha

On the right hand side, on the field properties, check if you have assigned any message.
You can definitely pass message through scripts. That's all right.

Hi Sneha,
If its only happening at the users end then, please check the following at the user end.
1.How is the user accessing the form?
2.Is the version of Adobe Reader causing an issue. Very common in adobe forms.
3.Please check the preferences in the adobe reader for pop ups and scripting.
Regards,
Manu
