Hi,

Its used to adjust the database

suppose you have a table which already has data & you modify the table

before you activate the table you will have to use SE14 to adjust the table

this is done by the data base utility

alos if you want to drop any table you can use the same utility

kindly reward points to helpful answers ...

Also this takes the I/P from SE11 to create the required objects in the DB ...

its the Interface for creation / deletion / editing database objects from within SAP

The database utility is the interface between the ABAP Dictionary and the relational database underlying the R/3 System. The database utility allows you to edit (create, delete and adjust to changes to their definition in the ABAP Dictionary) database objects derived from objects of the ABAP Dictionary.
