Planning hierarchy

I tried creating a planning hierarchy and I got the below error. Can any1 please help me with this.

Planning parameters for info structure S901 not maintained

Message no. MA 260

Diagnosis

You have tried to create a planning hierarchy for an information structure whose units have not been fully configured.

It is also possible that an incorrect setting has been made in Customizing.

System Response

It is not possible to create the planning hierarchy.

Procedure

Either specify a different information structure or ask the systems administrator to make the necessary settings for this information structure in Customizing for Sales & Operations Planning (the step "Set parameters of info structures and key figures").

Please help.

Hi Naren,

See if this infostructure entry is there in the following config task. If not, you need to add or ask someone to do it.


Implementation Guide for R/3 Customizing (IMG)
-->Production
   -->Sales & Operations Planning (SOP)
      -->Master Data
         -->Set parameters for info structures and key figures

Alternative path to the same task is

Hello Srinivas,

That infostructure entry is there in that config step. Do I have to do anything with UNITS. I am having NET VALUE as a key figure with UNIT 32 in my LIS structure S901.

Any idea??
