Hi,

I am checking a user profile in transaction PFCG.

I see that the TAB with the Authorizations has a red bullet (instead of green).

Does it mean that the role is not correctly assigned to the user?

What do I need to do to fix it?

click the change authorization data icon & check whether all the status are in green & fix the error

Check whether that Role was assigned with profiles or Not?

When No Profiles were assigned to that role , that RED button appears.

so assign some profiles for that role and see again

This means the authorization profile is not generated properly. So go inside that authorization profile(The button under "Maintain Authorization Data and Profiles") and generate it. If it is generated properly, the light will change to green.

Brief desc.of all the tabs..

Description: Define Role description

Menu: Define activities, design user menus

Add transactions, reports, and Web addresses in menu

Authorizations: Maintain authorization data, generate authorization profile

The authorizations for the activities selected are created and profiles

generated. This step normally involves the greatest administrative maintenance

User: Assign users, Compare user master

The users are assigned to the roles

Finally (depending on the settings in PFCG), the comparison with the user

master records of the users which have just been assigned to the roles is

performed
