Hi,
I have a problem with "connection" between PFCG and SU24 as PFCG is not pulling in objects (and proposals). This is how it functions at the moment:
1. I create a new role in PFCG and assign transactions to it.
2. When selecting "Authorizations" tab and executing "Expert Mode", no objects are pulled in.
3. In SU24, I enter the transactions, execute and get a list of t-codes in display mode and all are in status "Saved"
4. When I select a transaction and go from "Display" to "Change" mode, status of the transaction changes from "Saved" to "Revised".
5. If I now press save and go to PFCG + Expert mode, objects for this one transaction are pulled in.
6. I have to save all the transactions in SU24 to get the objects to PFCG.
I have this issue only in development client. In sandbox SU24/PFCG works fine.
What could be causing this behaviour? Could I have somehow accidentally triggered this?
thanks for help.

Appears as if the initial setup of PFCG isn't done properly. Have a look at transaction SU25 and it's helpfiles.

Hi,
Didn't manage to edit the original post..
Reason behind this is that USOBT_C table in DEV client only contains values for transactions that I have updated through SU24.
Steps 1 and 2A seem to be done in SU25 and I'm fairly sure that I checked that USOBT_C table contained more proposals when I started.
Could I have somehow overwritten USOBT_C when updating SU24? USOBT_C table looks fine in all the other clients.
Any suggestions how to proceed?

Hi,
I checked table USOBT_CD in our DEV and it tells me that all the entries in USOBT_C were modified in SU24 exactly the same time. So, at the moment USOBT_C table includes entries for transaction codes that were modified after that "mass modification" event. (ca. 2500 entries). I don't know what has happened in SU24 to make all the entries disappear.
I'd like to get default USOBT_C entries back to DEV and then update those with the 2500 entries I have in the current USOBT_C table. Are below actions sufficient to achieve this?
a) Download "Customer Data" in SU24 (in DEV) for the transactions I have modified (2500 entries).
b) Rerun SU25 step 1 to get default USOBT_C values restored
c) Upload (with replace) to DEV the "Customer Data" downloaded in step a)
- Can SU25 step 1 be rerun? Is there any harm done if I do this?
- Would this Download/Upload exercise be enough to correct my USOBT_C table, any experiences?
- Are there any other alternatives I should consider?
Edit:
I also tried to download "Customer Data" from QA and upload that to DEV, but keep getting error message: "Impermissible Default Values in Transaction 1KEL" and several "No matching TADIR entry exist for TRs xxxx" messages. I thought only upload option "Originals" was checking if TADIR entries exist? What I'm doing wrong here?
Thanks for help!
