pf-status copy

i copied a pf-status from a z program , the status is in germany, <b>i want to appear it in english</b>.

Is there any way while copying i need to change/copy the original language english.

go to pf-status attributes. U will find the language code set to DE. Change it to EN and activate. The pf-status will show u in English language.

You can use the transaction SE41 and use the transalation utility available at the menu path goto - > translation.

Hi Prashant,

1. Do it thru tcode SE41.

2. Type ur program name.

3. Select ur PF-Status

4. after that select from menu :

GOTO---->TRANSLATION

5. In target language enter EN.

Hi Prashant,

Login in English language.

Goto SE80 transaction, enter your program.

In the Left side you can find out your PF-STATUS. Try to change language or Activate it in English.

My problem is i see english as original language.

I can't convert DE to EN.

But german texts appear in menu bar

Try to Delete that and Create New Status with the same buttons, menus,fcodes....

I think it is not possible..

Yeah , Delete in SE41, and try to copy from some other status which is having EN as langauge.

what is your log on langauge..

if it EN then no problem..

and from which program are you copying..

My logon language is en and i am copying from zprogram where it is maintained in german.That program was only used for german.

But While copying it should ask you some thing to maintain in original language...

is there any specific reason to copy from there..

any way you can try copying the zprogram (whole) to some other program and try to copy from the copied program....

yes it asks as "When copying, the following objects will be recreated

You can change the short texts for the new objects"

but what to be done?

Do i need to change each and every text over there?

But ALl of them are still in GERMAN..

Just check this program for understanding..

if i copy it, it will convert all the menu texts to <b>en</b>.

please check that..

Hi, I probably found the solution, today I spent half a day to copy english texts from one Module pool program to another.

IMHO problem is only if you try to copy pf-status to M program. I created program with type Report, copied statuses and titles into it and changed type to M again. Statuses have English texts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check attributes of your program. That is in DE. Change it to EN and then copy GUI Status from which ever program you want it will be copied in EN.
