Performance problems for creating condition records

Hi,

We are facing a problem while creating condition records via tcode VK11. This transaction is being called from one user exit (CALL TRANSACTION method - Async) while quotation is created (VA21). There are some occasions when it took 5 to 7 min for creating the condition records after calling the tcode/creating quotation.

Please let me know what are the possible reasons for this performance issue? We are not looking for alternate options like BAPI, Direct method etc.. but any method/SAP reference to improve the performance of existing call transaction method.
