Performance issue in report

Hi,

Developed a report with loops..where its taking somuch of time to give the output in PRD server..in loop 1st internal table has 970 records,so its running in the loop 970 times and coming out and again reading another loop with number of records in its internal table so its taking somuch of time to give output....is there any other solution to fasten the prorgam..its a costing report..

discussed maybe several hundret times:

Use a SORTED table for the second internal table, the key must correspond to the WHERE clause.

Then performance will be fine.

If you must use a standard table, then you must optimize it yourself, READ BINARY ... LOOP FROM INDEX ... search the form.
