Performance for COEP and COVP select statement

Hi All,

I am having performance issue with all programs where ever there is a select statement reading data from COEP and COVP table.

COEP and COVP table is having merely more than 100 Million entries in table and its growing every month with 8 Million new entries.

I am working on archiving of COEP as well but meanwhile I have to improve all the select queries, do we any ideal way to achieve it.
