pattern in selection screen

Hi,

in the selection scrren of report when using the * Symbol for search in the Project Definition multiple value entries selection, the last entry always overwrites the first in the list.

ex: if i selected 3 values for sngle value.

895*

999*

after tha i selected option pattern then it overwrites first value like this

1245*

895*

1245*

couls please tell me the purpose of "pattern" and "exclude pattern"

Hi For me there is no problem,it is fine

and pattern is for search for that pattern,

exclude pattern it will exclude these patterns and serach for other pattern.
