partly active ztable

Hi

I changed data type in my ztable after active it is showing me as partly active,what i should do .what is meaning of below 2 lines

Set the ABAP time stamp in the runtime object of all dependent objects

Set the SYNP time stamp in the runtime objet of all dependent objects

How did you changed the data type?? did you change any data element or domain?? If yes.. did you activate them too??

Maybe you should call SE14 to activate and <b>adjust</b> the database. There you could also check log of the object.

Anyway, what kind of changes did you apply to the table : changing data element/type, removing fields ?

Hi,

got to SE11 enter you ztable name and choose Utilities->Database Utility and choose Activate and adjust database. If you have a lot of entries in your table choose background mode.

Hi Lalith..

Whenever you make the Changes to a Table in SE11.

if you get an ALTER TABLE error. Then the Table status will become PARTLY ACTIVE.

Then you have to Adjust the Changes in the Physical layer also using the Database Utility tool : Tcode SE14.

Select the Button : Activate and Adjust

Then your table will be adjusted in the Physical layer and Activated in SE11.
