Hi Uwe,

I have one more question in "Inserting Exception Texts from Message Classes".

How do I associate attributes with the place holders(&1, &2 etc) in the message class exception.

Thanks,

Mich

Hello Micheal

The attributes in the T100KEY structure are labelled 1-4.

If you message class message contains numbered wildcards (&1, &2, &3, &4) then the assignment is accordingly:

- attribute1 -> &1

- attribute1 -> &2

...

If the wildcards are not numbered (e.g. & & & &) then it is just dependent on order:

- attribute1 -> 1st occurrence of & in message text

- attribute1 -> 2nd occurrence of & in message text

...

Kind Regards

Uwe
