Hi,
We have customized the layout of the smartform to print Purchase Orders (PO's).
To print the standard terms and conditions at the end, I have created a standard text in TCode SO10 and included the text in the smartform.
Now the problem is that the paragraph headers in the terms and conditions, in standard text have been underlined. But while displaying the terms and conditions in the smartform, the paragraph headers are not underlined. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks and Regards,
Mick

Hi,
when you go in the smartforms transaction, you will get one option to create a style.

Hi Mick,
As you are using SO10 for inserting the text.once you create your standard text then you can find the text in a palin sheet select your text then go to char formats box select H char string, hightight your text will be highlighted then select U char, underlined option in same char formats box.And then you can call this text in your form.Hope this is clear with you.

Thanks Somaysula.
But I have already selected the underline option from the dropdown. In standard text (TCode SO10) the paragraph headers are underlined, but when previewing the smartform, the paragraph headers are not underlined.

Hi,
First go to smartforms transaction and in styles create Z style for the header data. when selecting a font and font size there is one option "underlined" select that option and save the style.
now open your z smartform and in the section in which you want the underlined characters, add newly created style name in the output options.
check your smart form now.
please reward points if you find it useful.

Thanks Jigs.
I guess what you are saying is create style in TCode smartstyles and then for the paragraph header have this newly created style with underline.
But can you include styles in standard text?
If I have not understood correctly, please explain.

hi,
you are right.
Create style from smartforms transaction.
you dont need to attach your styles with text elements but attach your style to your header or window in which you want text should be underlined.
This style is also reusable. Its advisable to your styles then setting styles in the texts.
Let me know in case of more issues.

Thanks Jigs.
This is what I have done. In the text element node, I have selected the include text option. Then in the general attributes tab, I have given the following:
Text Name: <name of the standard text>
Text Object: TEXT
Text ID: ST
Language: EN
On the Output Options Tab I have given the following
Style: <Name of "Z" style>
The problem is that there is nowhere where you can give the paragraph format and character format that you have created in the "Z" style.
Please help.

Mick

Friend,
I had tested as per ur request and it is working fine with me. In which version of SAP r u done the customization? In 4.7 and above version, it is runing fine. Created std. text and included the this std. text in the SMARTFORM text editor with Text type as Include text and text name as the std. text created name in SO10. Make sure the U select charformat as U(Underlined), while creating std. text.
Thanks,

Thanks Chandan.
I have done exactly the same as what you have mentioned.
I am working in SRM 4.0, SAP GUI 6.40
I only want the paragraph headers to be underlined and not the entire standard text.

Hi Mick,
after adding the style in the smartform output options,
in the attribute section where u included your standard text name and laguage, there is one option bellow of paragraph format.
once you enter your style, in the help of this paragraph format, you will find the formats that you have created in the style.
let me know in case of queries.
reward me points in case of useful answer.
Thanks,
Jigs.
