Page protection in Smartforms

Hi All,

I havw to print some sub-items for a particular item in smartform. To display items, TABLE is used in main window and for looping sub-items, LOOP is used.

The checkbox for Page Protection of TABLE and LOOP is not enabled (4.6 C version of SAP). So, I have taken them under a FOLDER and ticked the checkbox for Page Protection.

But it is not working.

I have ticked Page Protection in the line format of table.

And, also for all the individual Text nodes.

Please suggest as soon as possible.

Regards,

Nazneen

You need to put your LINE of the TABLE (which prints main item) and the Entire LOOP under the FOLDER and SET The Page Protection.

So, your main window should look like:

..MAIN
....TABLE
......HEADER
......MAIN
........FOLDER with the Page protection
..........LINE1
..........LOOP for sbuiten
......HEADER

I have already done the same thing as I mentioned before.

But it is not working.

Can you tell me how to put Page Protection in LOOP?

The checkbox is in disabled mode.

There is no need to put page protection in a loop.

As if you already put page protection on folder as Nnaimesh said i guess this would serve your purpose.

I have tried that also. Putting all the text nodes in the folder, clicking the checkbox for Page Protection.

But I dont know why it is not working.

Is there any other way, apart from this checkbox?

There is one more option we have if you are using Smartstyles than we can set page protection at paragraph format level also.but than you must assing this paragragh format with this smartstyles to your text node.

The page protection is already ticked for the paragraph format I am using to display. Actually, I have tried all the ways of page protection. So, I am unable to find why it is not working.

Not sure what you are doing!

are you creating folder at the table level?

if yes than please don't create at table level.

you need to create folder in the main area of the table node and put the row type(Fields to be displayed) in that.

check the page-protection for that folder.
