Hi, gurus,
is it possible to put some of the z programs & class & function modules & DDIC together into one change request (or other kind of package), and transport via file media to another totally new system?
thanks and best regards.

always i used to keep one request for entire project ,suppose i have one development which includes new zprogram, new custom table, new Function module ,class, everthing i would save under one package ,i mean on request.
I will move that request from dev box to qa box ,from qa box to prd box.
Check with SE09 or SE10 Transaction to release transport request, importing use STMS Transaction.
If you want to create new package then use SE80 Transaction.
Thanks

Hi Jun,
If the new system has the transport path setup with your system (using STMS) then it can be done. If there is no transport path then you may need to ask your basis to create one so that you can transfer these objects in that system.

Hello friends,
thank you for your reply, but i think i did not make myself clear.
what i really want is to do transport mannual , via a exchange file, to another totally new box, not qas not prd, but a new project.
as you know , in project implementation, we built alot of custom programs, but it's only for that project, so when a new project start, we have to do everything from the very begining, from scratch.
is it possible to have all the custom program reused?

Hi Jun,
Yes it can be done. Not very sure of the method, the basis person use, but if you post your query in basis forum, you may get a quick response.

HI,
Yes its possible to store your objects in the same request .
In fact this is good practice..instead of creating new request for every object...
Thanks.
