Hi,

I want to change the package name , so in the menu bar goto -- object directory entry there i changed the package name but it is asking for request number how to get that..

So you need to create a new transport or use some already created. It needs to be transfered to QA and production system as any other development object.

Already there are two packages available i just want to transfer the report and t-codes from one package to another package with my own request number...

Hi Thiru,

You need to create a new transport request for this. there is no ther way. Only by transport request you can move the changes to the other server. So its better to create a transport request.

Hi,

Once you make changes to any object say change in package or source code changes, it needs to be put in the transport request. So here you need to say create or else use F4 help on transport request to assign it to any of the existing transport requests. Transport requests are required in order to move the program to different system like Quality, Production.
