oy01 transaction!

Hello Experts!

My requirement is to add some additonal info for the country data and i found oy01 transaction, if i change the data here it asks me the TR credentials .

Would it have an impact(wrong) elsewhere in sap if i go ahead changing the data in the existing fields .

Kindly do suggest me in this regards.

For master table i was able to change the data using mm02 for material master but i don't have any country master so preferred the above said transaction.

Do suggest me if we have an alternative to alter the country specific data in sap.

What is the need to change the Country global settings. If you change any it will impact to the other transactions. Generally we can change the general data. If you are changing properties it will impact in some transaction postings.
