hi folks,

I had a question related to OSS notes, I am trying to login to OSS notes, and I read through all the thread information posted few minutes back and helped me a little.

I have my userid and password and logged to the OSS server.

I have an issue, I need to post some question in the OSS note and I wnet into SAP Service Market place and trying to post there but it was asking the username and password(should I be using the same ossid and passowrd here too)?

I am abit confused.

Can anyone guide me here?

Thanks

Vinu

Yes, you will need to use the same. OSS will slowly be phased out and Service Market Place is the new OSS.

I tried to login with my username and password using the TCode OSS1 and going through a series of screens, and I did not know where to post the questions there.

Hence I choose Service Market Place' and used the smae userid and password. but it did not work.

Hence I got confused.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Go to transaction OSS1. Enter your user id and password. Double click on Messages. In the screen on the right, you will see the messages inbox, there should be a button on the top that says, "Create Message". Click it. Follow the next couple of screens and your message will be created. It will force you to search for a solution first, but just keep continuing thru it.

Go to service.sap.com.

Under the 'Service Support Portal', you will see a link 'messages'. Click on that and it will ask you for user id and password. Enter your OSS ID(typically starts with 'S') and password. Once in there you will be able figure it out.
