hello,
Query is about OSS notes implementation status ( plz note , not processing status ). I have a note whose correction instructions were implemented completely, but the note's status shows Incompletely implemented because Some parts were applied manually. Now this note is a prerequisite to some other note, so the implementation status does not let me go ahead with applying the new note. Anyone faced this problem? Is there a way to reset the implementation status ?

let us have the number of the notes, please.
why did you implement parts manually? did the note tell you to?

Hi Suker
U make sure the note is really implemented: I think the SNOTE has implemented only some piece of the note, so u need to implement the rest manually.
This can happen if SNOTE can't find the right place where the correction note has to be implemented.

the note says to either use a support package or do it manually ... so you should be save.
two ideas: in SNOTE, try check note (menu) ... or ... try to implement it again and see if prompts you for a transport (hopefully you have not already released the transport of your first try), for generation of reports and then adjusts the status in SNOTE. i tried that just now (not with your note but with another) and it worked fine ... but i am on ECC 5.0.

Thanks, Snote could implement only a part of the note, rest had to be done manually. In short the whole note has been applied. In this situation how do i set the implementation status to completely implemented ?

Hi
That should be done automatically, while implementing it warning icon should be assigned to the include where the note has to be implemented manually.
After implementing all, the status should be set completely implemented
Try to implement the note again
