Object type varies in two systems when changing a standard object...

Hi all

I recently had to change a standard object (MIEQUI20) since a full table scan was being performed in table equi... I made a change in one system and when I asked for the key the object type was R3TR PROG MIEQUI20, however when I tried to make same change in another sytem and tried to use same key, the same object has a type R3TR ENHS ES_MIEQUI20... I am not familiar with enhancement spots yet, both objects have same code, installation and versions in both systems... however I am wondering why the type is different for each system.... Any help would be appreciated....

I guess the earlier system must be less than ECC 6.0.

Per my understanding the later System changes are stored as Enhancement whereas earlier are stored as SAP Modification.

The later have benifit in future EP/SP that your changes will not be overwritten but its otherwise in OLD system.
