Node in SE80 cannot be deleted

Hello,

I had a couple of objects in my development, like views and function groups, which I could see in SE80. I´ve deleted the objects since those are not necessary any more but it is impossible to delete the corresponding node in SE80. The node for the function group is still visible but when I make a double click or when I try to delete it, I get a message in the status bar: "function group XXXX does not exist". The node is entirely empty.

why does this happen and how can I get rid of that node ??

Thanks.

Hi Jorg.

1.Go TO SE80

2.Give Your Package Name and press ENTER

3.Right click on the package->Other functions->Rebuild object list.

Then object list will get refresh.

Cheers

Hello Jorge,

If you are saying that you can not able to delete it from SE09 or SE10 tcode which appears, then please do like below:

Position the cursor on the Transport Request and then goto Menu bar:

Request/Task -> Object List -> Sort and compress.

If you do this, the objects will be deleted.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Suresh

How did you delete the function group initially ?
