New user parameter

Hi,

For one of current development I have to add check box on the screen.

This check box can will be either visible or not depending on user parameter .

For that i will need new user parameter.

My question is how to create New user param that I can use.

I did try in table maintained generator for the table usr05, but maintenance

dialog is not created for that table.

Please advice

Hi,

Assume you are talking about Parameter id that can be created using transaction SE80.

in se80 there woud be a button for edit objects click on that and go to tab more there you have a radio button called SET/GET parameter ID setect that radio button and click on the create button at the bottom of the popup.

It is not Tcode that is important . I want to create ne USER parameter that will determinate visibilities of any scree element in occurrence check box. I need New user parameter like ones when can found in many system>userprofile>own data>parameters

Just as somebody said in previuos post, the SET/GET PARAMETER ID (or user parameter if you prefer so) can be created by trx SE80:

Press on Edit Object, choose tab called More...., SET/GET PARAMETER ID

Add them in table TPARA.
