Hi Erdem,

There is a static Attribute NEWLINE inside CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES class.Take a look.

It's value is %_NEWLINE .

CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE.

Oh, OK. The answer to your question is that the application server does not interpret a newline. It regards it as just an undisplayable character (or, in the case of a windows carriage-return/linefeed, a pair of undisplayable characters).
